The Big Island Holiday Classic is the modern evolution of the legendary 1990s Big Island Invitational. Returning in 2022 to the historic Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium, the tournament welcomes premier collegiate programs to experience high-stakes basketball infused with the spirit of Aloha.

Building on a legacy that once hosted powerhouses like UConn, Stanford, and Purdue, the event is now proudly managed by TitleTown Events and hosted by the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo. We are committed to maintaining the high standard of competition and hospitality that has defined Big Island basketball for decades. Join us for the next chapter of excellence.
